I think you mean (sorry MM). The site was good prior to team b, and then they put up a terrible site, and then it got revamped near the end and it was even worse...not sure how they managed that.

if the old web site was still available, you could "rip it off" by downloading the source code. Unfortunately, you would have to download the entire design tree and that takes time and sometimes not possible. If you have even 90% of the code, you can recreate the rest. Again, its time consuming. The problem lies in links to files within the web design tree and you don't have a direct access nor do you know how its set up.

If the old web site was poor, why bother resurrecting it?
