I saw Chris here earlier. He probably did not want the footage of 80mph through the city streets of San Diego on record. I can say that the car seems to accelerate like a "bat out of hell". It might also be because the footage was so shaky. Would have been better to have a camera mounted to the car instead of handheld, but it was still pretty cool to see.

One reason might be that the guy who filmed it will probably want to use some of the footage for his Magazine article. It was filmed by Greg Vogel from MotoIQ. Hopefully it will go back up in some form or we get a newer better version.

Yikes. The partially constructed picture from 4-10-2012 right above the video reminds me of Cugnot's famous "first powered vehicle" with the boiler hanging over the front wheel.
To each his own -- the Torq is oriented towards hot-shot driving thrills rather than motoring efficiently in comfort, with over-the-top styling to match. Pat Q |
