You mean the 1300 ft-lbs of torque? Yes. Interesting coincidence. The C1 uses two counter-rotating gyros instead of one, I suspect, to get only the desirable torque. I wonder how the Gyro-X handled the torque generated by pitch changes? I imagine cresting a steep hill would be quite exciting in a Gyro-X. :-)

They say that there will be
hub motors in both wheels, to give 80 kW total power. I understand about unsprung weight on a lightweight vehicle. We will have to see how that goes. The gyros might help smooth the ride. (I expect so, actually.)

If you listen to the interviews of the founder, he definitely has stars in his eyes. I have no doubt that the price will rise prior to production. I just hope they follow the KISS principles as much as possible.
