right.. I've been reading it, and learning so much about the many ways they are innovating engine, airodynamic, and weight issues. It's just that one doesn't hear from other interested folks - like we do on the Aptera Forum.

While not quite as interactive, the comments are a good read on that blog. I've also mentioned that they would do well to add a forum to the site to open up the blog discussions in a better format.

If I put myself in their shoes, I would say it could be a bottomless pit of questions that they may not want to address until they are ready. For example, I would love to know what direction they are headed with hybrid power. How powerful would the electric motor be, the size of the batteries, and range. They would have to say 'we're not ready to talk about it'. This way they have control of what information they release.

I agree. If they build their own forum it would seem they would need to answer more to the people who post. If there were an unofficial forum they could pick and choose when to join in the conversation. That is why I don't understand why Aptera has not taken advantage of this forum. They could have "used" us to their benefit in rallying for support when they wanted to spread the word and get the congressional bills passed in their favor. I suspect now in hindsight that they did not use this forum to their advantage because they had no intention of getting the car to market. Seems as though they are just riding this straight to the ground. It's a shame.

But if somebody were to start an unofficial VLC blog, I bet that E2 would chime in from time to time to set everybody straight. And they would speak directly to the forum and not by way of multiple aliases.

Marques is a terrible marketing person who has no clue how to build and grow a base. Just visiting this forum he would get a ton of very useful marketing ideas. Instead, the only visits we get is to astroturf and to divert our attention with excuses from all the mistakes they make.

The word is incompetent, it's actually disgusting to watch the company fail because of such pure incompetence and crony culture. I have analyst level college grads in their first year out of school that have worked for me in marketing that can make him look like and Amway salesman. Sorry, at least Amway people are skilled and can use a spell checker. I can't comment on the guy as a person and I'm sure I could have a beer a Chili's with him but he can't land a job without PW to carry him on his shirt tails and he knows it. Let's get real here, Aptera will NEVER last without new management.
