It's like ann airplane cockpit - shoulder to shoulder - no transmission tunnel or console between. The width is in the wheel spacing for stability. Tadpole 3-wheelers tend to lift the inside front wheel in turns, but this can be countered with a low cg and width. The tendency for this configuration is understeer, but they can stick like supercar when properly designed. I know the tires are on the economy side of spectrum, but I still REALLY want to drive an Aptera and see what it's like even if I can't buy one.
