Wow was that a canned interview? Talk up the car is rigidness, Ask about the target market....Not sure if that was a interview or maybe its just whos talking in most of it but I got a odd "marketing" vibe.

MM is a terrible public speaker and he has had plenty of time to practice, it is clear this was prepared and rehearsed unlike his other interviews in the past. Put him in a situation where he does not know the questions and it is unprofessional, awkward or rookie. This has never been the job for him and he is surely not a marketing professional either. He has a rep of getting into jobs over his head and smooth talking his way about. I find all of this incompetence frustrating as it has led Aptera down a bad road with many lost opportunities and repeated blunders. I'm not saying MM is a bad guy, he just belongs on the showroom floor selling cars or talking up customers. This is what happens when you hire all your "buddies", just like the dot com days with 20 somethings getting paid far to much for their complete lack of experience and the clusters of cronyism yielding dysfunctional business with blind vision. Until they are gone or things change at the top, Aptera will always be on the brink of failure.

Well said. PBW did a couple of mercy hires... Laura and Marques. Aptera's reputation and vision has been wasted on all of them. It's clearer than ever that the BOD is impotent to stop this disaster.

When they replace MM or get someone above him with the proper skills I will begin to take a look at Aptera again seriously. Laura is a very nice person to speak with, more polite, engaging and focused than others and I wonder if she is still getting a check. After the info got out any prudent management should have separated from that situation if the info was unknown before. I wonder if the board knew and if not did they take action if not from a pure PR perspective. It's sad, if Aptera had some real leadership and marketing professionals I truly believe they would have secured MUCH more funding and be much further ahead even with the design changes. The entire X Prize event has been unbelievable and not just for Aptera, I think many people wish they entered their home-built EVs at this point.

I made a small joke about it before but if they'd kept Steve and Chris (infusing that 10 mil earlier) and their advanced tech team they might have been able to get the Palomar put together before the event. It's a stretch, I know, because who would have known that almost all the Mainstream teams would be out.
As for MM, I agree that he is a total waste. Though this "our suppliers" video is one of his best moments. Which shows how low the bar is set.
