It seems the factory footage is around the time of the first press release picture. And the sound of the charger is pretty loud imho.

At around 0:35? You think that is the sound of the A[tera charging? Never heard that before. Sure it isn't something else in the background??

BTW, I also found the 7 minute footage of Steve showing of a 2e, never saw that before (nov 25 09). You did: you posted it!

Steve already mentions the piezoelectric doors witches. And that the wheel pants yield about 10% efficiency.
It is an older version of the 2e: FWD, but still with side view cameras, old type chairs and dashboard.

I am not sure it's the charger. But judging by the way the video is shot I think it is the sound of the charger. I have no experience with EV chargers but it seemed pretty loud. More opinions?

Rob I think it's just the old Typ-1 but Steve renamed it the 2e to make the official name switch. This car does not exist anymore in this form because they retrofitted it with the new style dashboard and took it to TED.

Might be a combination of the camcorder mic pickup and the charger cooling fan. FWIW, my EV has a louder fan noise than that when charging.
